Embroidery
I am excited to share my passion for this intricate and beautiful art form. My journey with embroidery began in 2000 while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I used embroidery to enhance and embellish my hand-dyed fabrics.

In early 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself with more time to pursue my hobbies and interests. I was no longer required travel for work, so I turned to embroidery as a way to unwind and decompress from my busy workday. What started as a form of relaxation quickly grew into a deep passion for the art of embroidery.

My embroidery designs are inspired by a range of subjects, including abstract designs, minimalist designs, graphic design-inspired food, women, cats, flowers, people with unusual facial expressions, and interesting characters from public domain works. I am drawn to the intricate details and delicate textures that embroidery allows me to create, and I take pride in the time and care I put into each piece.

Through my work, I hope to showcase the beauty and versatility of this art form, and to encourage others to discover the joy and fulfillment that comes with creating something truly unique and beautiful.
